Event-based public health surveillance looks at reports, stories, rumors, and other information about health events that could be a serious risk to public health.
Case report/study
These are reports of an individual patient on their symptoms, treatment reactions on a disease or condition of interest. These reports normally focus on unusual reactions or occurrences.

This a report that document and summarize all the steps, main findings and recommendations of the outbreak investigation

This is a message directed towards the public, health professional and stake holders regarding current and priority given public health issues.

The Ethiopian Weekly Epidemiological Bulletin (EWEB) is a communication tool produced by EPHI’s Early Warning and Information System Management Directorate to provide health professionals and the public with authoritative, timely, and influential source of information and recommendations for actions to minimize public health threats.
To create a well-informed community as well as bridge the gap between researchers, policy-makers and health professionals.
The EWEB serves as the government’s primary communication channel for disseminating public health information. It is produced by analyzing data from the Integrated diseases surveillance and response (IDSR) system which is collected nationwide. It also exhibits the seasonal trends of diseases, reports on outbreaks, global news, research, articles and risk communication for the community.
